thinkin of you (2020) embroidery floss on cotton

During the pandemic I have had limited interaction with others but I've still been lucky enough to have moments of joy with people during that time. I started by picking colours of embroidery floss that made me think the people who have made the last year Nice, I did a simple embroidery piece which I did some fun scanner glitching on until I had a final that felt like it embodied all the weirdness, excitement, boredom, anger, kindness, frustration and love of the last year.
